Beautiful and bright 1930s silk juban kimono, fully lined witch cotton fabric and made of soft silk that drapes beautifully on your body. Some discoloration can be seen on lining and collar, but overall the kimono is in very good condition considering it´s age.
The juban is traditionally worn as undergarment therefore the length is a bit shorter then other kimono.
It´s printed and sewn by hand and obviously a piece of art carrying it`s own unique history.
Length: 124 cm (49″)
Vintage clothing was sized differently than modern clothing, therefore we provide measurements to each listing. Please read this guide to get the measurements right.
We also provide an approximate modern size estimate (example: XS, S, M, L) in each listing, do keep in mind that these are just approximate and always go by measurements to be sure.
All measurements are taken across the garment laying flat. Which means you have to double them to get the circumference. Best way usually is to compare the flat measurements on a similar piece of clothing from your wardrobe.
Please keep in mind that some fabrics stretch out more than others. If a measurement is marked FREE , it means it’s open and wide.
If you have any questions regarding size never hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to help you out.
