Beautiful vintage Indian cotton dress. The fabric is dyed by hand using traditional block print technique. The color scheme is a lovely mix of deep prun, purple, and white with gold staples and lace trim.
The cuff buttons are missing and could easily be replaced if you wish. There has probably also at one point been an elastic rubber band in the waistline, a new one could be added if you prefer empire waist. But it does look cute as is, or belted. Otherwise the dress is in very good condition.

We also provide an approximate modern size estimate (example: XS, S, M, L) in each listing, do keep in mind that these are just approximate and always go by measurements to be sure.
All measurements are taken across the garment laying flat. Which means you have to double them to get the circumference. Best way usually is to compare the flat measurements on a similar piece of clothing from your wardrobe.
Please keep in mind that some fabrics stretch out more than others. If a measurement is marked FREE , it means it’s open and wide.
